We also went to this spot on May 2. Wyandanch was a native American leader. Does anybody have a photo of the Wyandanch Inn? It doesn't exist anymore. There are condominiums today.
Thanks, Laura. I spoke with Jim Martell on July 25 (paper store and gas station at the end of main street). He said the Wyandanch Inn was in Turtle Cove. He showed me xerox copies of photos.
Hi Laura! I'm Charlotta, from Sweden. I'm looking for some relatives of ours. I think I might be related to Mary Smith Fullerton. Is it possible for you to put me in contact with her or maybe any children of hers? I would be eternally greatful! My email adress is: charlottadahlenfors@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteThe Wyandanch Inn was what the Surfside Inn used to be called.

ReplyDeleteNo, the Wyandanee was at Turtle Cove--the Wyandanch was Surfside Inn. Both were run by our old family friend Mary Smith Fullerton.
